These Terms and Conditions apply to all vehicle collection, transport, and delivery services provided by Ray Edwards Logistics Ltd. By accepting a quotation or booking a service with the Company, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, “the Company” refers to Ray Edwards Logistics Ltd and “the Customer” refers to any person or business requesting or booking transport services. “Vehicle” refers to the vehicle being transported and “Service” refers to the collection, transport, and delivery of the Vehicle arranged by the Company.

2. Quotations

All quotations are provided based on the information supplied by the Customer, including vehicle condition, collection and delivery locations, and required dates. The Company reserves the right to amend a quotation if any of the information provided by the Customer is incorrect, incomplete, or changes prior to transport. Quotations are valid for a period of 7 days unless otherwise stated.

3. Bookings

A booking is considered confirmed once the Customer has accepted the quotation and the Company has confirmed availability. The Company reserves the right to reschedule collection or delivery due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to traffic, weather conditions, vehicle breakdown, delays at collection or delivery locations, or other operational issues.

4. Vehicle Condition

The Customer must ensure that the Vehicle is in a roadworthy condition unless otherwise agreed and declared as a non-runner prior to transport. The Customer must declare any known faults, damage, leaks, modifications, or mechanical issues before transport is arranged. The Company will not be responsible for mechanical or electrical faults that occur during or after transport where no external damage has occurred.

5. Personal Belongings

The Customer must remove all personal belongings from the Vehicle prior to collection. The Company accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal items left inside the Vehicle.

6. Access for Collection and Delivery

The Customer must ensure that safe and suitable access is available for collection and delivery. If access is restricted or unsafe for the transport vehicle, the Company may arrange an alternative nearby location for collection or delivery.

7. Collection and Delivery Times

All collection and delivery times provided are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. The Company will not be liable for any loss, damage, or additional costs caused by delays outside of its reasonable control.

8. Payments

Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking. The Company reserves the right to withhold delivery of the Vehicle until payment has been received in full where applicable.

9. Cancellations

If a confirmed booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the agreed collection time, the Company reserves the right to charge a reasonable cancellation fee to cover costs incurred.

10. Liability and Insurance

The Company holds appropriate motor trade and goods in transit insurance. In the event of damage caused during transport, liability will be limited to the terms and conditions of the Company’s insurance policy. The Company will not be liable for pre-existing damage, mechanical or electrical faults, delays outside of its control, or any indirect or consequential losses including loss of earnings.

11. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, road closures, accidents, mechanical breakdown, or other unforeseen circumstances.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By accepting a quotation or booking a service with Ray Edwards Logistics Ltd, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
